How many visits do PharmaPromo sites receive?
Our 250+ generic sites receive visits from a huge spectrum: manufacturers, buyers, exports, physicians, professionals in the pharmaceutical industry, health organizations, and of course consumers. Our sites receive an average of 20,000 unique visits a day, with some receiving more than others depending on the medication itself.
How do I get started?
If you are interested in placing a banner on any of our generic sites, or in having a company profile page linked from a generic website, please fill out the Sign Up page and you will be contacted by one of our marketing representatives within 48 hours.
Am I eligible to advertise on any of the Pharmapromo sites?
Due to the highly specialized nature of our websites, PharmaPromo offers banner advertising to advertisers whose business is related to the pharmaceutical and health industry. For example, distributors and manufacturers of a generic medication, pharmaceutical companies, health insurance companies etc. Please note that all adverts are subject to approval at PharmaPromo's discretion.
Can I advertise on more than one site?
Of course! You can place banners on the generic sites of your choice, and it is a practice we would recommend in order to reach a wider, targeted public. However, it also depends on the nature of the advertiser and/or the service being offered.
What are your rates?
Information on PharmaPromo's advertising rates will be disclosed once you have contacted our Marketing Dept, or by filling out the Contact Us form. Our rates are based on CPM (per 1000 impressions).
Do you offer rates other than CPM?
No. We feel that this is the most effective and honest way to work as it offers our partners a clearer picture on where their investment is going, compared to CPC (cost per click) or fixed advertising rates, for example.
How often do you update your content?
The content on our 250+ generic sites is updated on various levels. As you will appreciate, the technical information regarding a specific medication rarely changes meaning that regular updates are not required. However, we try to update news feeds, forum posts and contributions from professionals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis respectively.
How do I subscribe to your electronic newsletter?
If you wish to receive updates with regards to a specific generic medication, you can subscribe to our newsletter by clicking on the "MAILING LIST" tag on the relevant site. With our newsletter, you will receive first hand news and information about further website improvements and new projects we are developing.
Can I send an article for publication in one of your sites?
All our content and featured articles are written by doctors or medical journalists. However, if you have an interesting article that fits the style and is relevant to a specific medication, we would be happy to review it. Alternatively, please feel free to post your articles in any of our forums.
What kind of advertising space do you offer?
We offer 3 advertising spaces on each of our generic medication sites. The banners we offer are the following:
- Top banner (top right hand side of web page) - 480 pixels wide by 60 pixels high
- Skyscraper (on right side of page) - 120 pixels wide by 600 pixels high
- Left banner (on left side of page, below menu) - 120 pixels wide by 240 pixels high
Can a company profile appear on more that one site?
Yes. If your company deals with the product of the site in question, or works in relation to the medication, you can have your company profile to appear on as many sites as you wish. Please contact us for more information and rates.
Do your sites offer a multi-lingual service?
Unfortunately, our service only targets an English-speaking public. In the near future, however, PharmaPromo will be working towards incorporating several other language options into its service.
How can I change my password/account information?
Once you have logged into your personal account page with your original login details, you can change your password and account information under the "PREFERENCES" tag located at the top left-hand side of the page.

Can I reuse content on the PharmaPromo sites?
If you are interested in reusing any of our content in print or on the web, please contact PharmaPromo for permission to make sure that you do not violate our copyright laws. If you wish to link to a specific section on a site, for example, then please inform us so that we can keep track of incoming links.
I don't have any banners. Can you design them for me?
At PharmaPromo we have our team of professional graphic designers to help create and design banners (in Flash, GIF) for your company to place on our generic medication sites. Our team will design 2-3 banners for you to choose from. For more information on our banner design options, please contact us directly.
Can I add or change the promotional material provided by PharmaPromo?
No. Should you wish to make any changes to the positioning, design or site location of your promotional content, we recommend that you contact us directly.
Will my banner be exclusive or shared with other banners?
This depends on you and on the demand for the advertising space on the site in question. We do offer advertising exclusivity but at a different price, compared to having your banner on rotation with another advertiser. Please contact us for more information and rates.
Can I have several banners for a specific advertising space?
Yes. We allow advertisers to have up to 3 banners per advertising space.
How can I run a report on my banner statistics?
Once your banner ads have been approved and the payment has been received, your banner will be placed on the site(s) of your choice. As the advertiser, you will then be given access to our integrated PharmaAds Manager Program, where you will be able to log in and view all your personal banner campaign information (such as your ad impression history, total clicks, stats reports, and account balance transaction history). The PharmaAds Manager offers a very user-friendly and straightforward interface.
What are the differences between the reports?
The PharmaAds Manager offers 2 distinct types of reports depending on what statistical information you are looking for. The "REPORTS" tag on your account page will let you access and display the following:
- Campaign History - allows you to generate an overview of the history of a selected campaign. The campaign refers to the specific site(s) you are advertising on.
- Advertiser History - lets you generate an overview of the complete advertising history. This report, like the previous, is exported as a CSV file for use in a spreadsheet.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Once your campaign has been approved, it will not be activated until we have received your payment. Payment can be made either through a standard bank transfer, by credit card, PayPal or via cheque. Please note that a cheque may take 1 week to clear. If you have any further queries please contact us directly.
Do I get an invoice for purchasing advertising space?
Yes. We issue all our partners with a full invoice when purchasing advertising space at PharmaPromo.com.
